Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese descent and lived in Vietnam. The father of her Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family that has deep roots in America's South. Olivia's parents separated at age two. She grew up with her mother, who worked in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. Although the family departed Oklahoma and stayed in various places, she was brought up in Tokyo, Japan. At this point she was a part of a number of local theater productions, and then began modeling for the Japanese fashion business. Olivia returned in Los Angeles after the family's return to this part of the United States. She pursued her ambition of becoming an actress. She started her acting career by playing a minor part. Then, her career took off when she was hired as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's receptionist. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued after the TV program Beyond the Break. Black belts are hers in taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was just two years old, and was an Air Force official. The family has moved many times but she lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan due to the fact that it was the location where her father was stationed. The university she attended was the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major, with minors of Japanese and dramatic art.
