On Two and a Half Men, Bowlby was cast as Kandi. Her role of Stacy Barrett in the popular series Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby widespread recognition all over the world. Bowlby played the role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web series Titans. Bowlby will reprise her character in a spinoff from the Doom Patrol series. Bowlby has also appeared in TV film Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. After appearing on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature), and From Prada, to Nada she made her first appearance on big screens with All Roads Lead Home.
