Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and actress well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in several Broadway productions before gaining to national prominence with Li'l Abner's debut in 1957. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film that was released in the year 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the film. During this time she was a student at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a glamour doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she was an effective television director in several series including Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex August 28th, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down in Toronto ever since.
