Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous prizes. Her work has received acclaim for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) and The Getaway, (1972). The desire to become an artist was influenced by her upbringing as a member of an New York family of artists. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to acting and modeling. In her first two films, she was recognized and won her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies MacGraw became the most popular female box-office star across the globe. In 1972, her footprints along with her signature were engraved on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw married three people.
